YEP Adventures in Middle School

Every Tuesday morning is an adventure in MSE’s Middle School!

Guest speakers who are successful entrepreneurs themselves take the time to tell their stories of success and failure and share their pearls of wisdom with our young entrepreneurs. Students surprise me each week with the depth and quality of their questions. Following, there is a research and presentation component as our 6th – 8th year students prepare to launch their own business.

The Young Entrepreneur Program (YEP) allows students to create their own product and bring it to market. They design and run all aspects of the business. Beyond learning vital business skills, students are also becoming global smart and global ready by developing the ability to think critically, be creative, and effectively collaborate and communicate with others. And these are the very things that we know will prepare them to be successful in school and in life.
