Application Process

Montessori School of Evergreen is a special place where students are honored for who they are. We take great care in educating the whole child, and we look for candidates that will flourish in the MSE community.

We seek students who are curious, independent, and engaged—students who embody our mission of becoming lifelong learners. We value academic curiosity, inquisitiveness, and the desire to know, and we graduate young people who go on to make a difference in the world.

If you would like to more information or would like to request an application packet, please submit an online inquiry form so we can begin the process of getting to know your child and your family.

IMPORTANT TIMELINE: We begin by giving prospective families a tour of the school in October for admission the following fall. After the tour, parents may reserve a spot for their child on our waitlist by submitting an application. When we anticipate that a spot will become available, the Head of School interviews the applicant (for Primary students), or the applicant spends the day at MSE shadowing a student (for Elementary and Middle School students). Applicants are notified of their status within two weeks of the visit/interview.

Family Interview/Tour of School
We invite every prospective family to visit Montessori School of Evergreen and take a tour of the school. Visiting our school gives prospective students and their families a chance to learn more about our program and share with our staff your child’s unique qualities. The school visit also gives us a chance to get to know your family and for you to get to know MSE.

Visiting Day for Students
We encourage prospective Elementary and Middle School students to spend a day shadowing a student at Montessori School of Evergreen. The student visit allows your child to gain a realistic perspective of MSE by spending time with his peers in the classroom setting.

Application Forms
Our application packet is available by request. Please contact our Office of Admission by phone at (303) 674-0093 or by email at admission@montessori-evergreen.org. Please complete the application packet and submit it along with the fee of $55.00 to be considered for admission to Montessori School of Evergreen.

Transcript
We request that you submit an official transcript from your child’s current school. A transcript release form is available in our application packet. Recommendation Forms
