Montessori School of Evergreen High School Choices

On behalf of the entire Mullen High School community, I want to thank you for allowing Mullen High School the chance to present our educational opportunities to the students at Montessori of Evergreen.  Over the years, the Montessori of Evergreen students have always exceeded the expectations we have for our incoming freshman.  Our experience with students attending Mullen who have graduated from your school is that they are very well prepared to meet the scholastic rigor of our college prep curriculum.  They are dedicated to excellence and illustrate that by the college acceptance letters they receive during their senior year at Mullen.

More importantly, we have found the Montessori of Evergreen students to be outstanding young men and women who represent themselves, their families, their school and their faith in a manner that makes our school community proud.  I want you and the entire Montessori of Evergreen community to know how blessed we are to work with such outstanding students and families.

Admission Director
Mullen High School

I am always delighted to receive an application from a student at the Montessori School of Evergreen.  I can count on the students to be well prepared academically and emotionally.  They are good writers and critical thinkers.  More than that, I have been impressed with the students’ deep interests in extracurricular activities, whether it be arts, athletics, or community service.  The Montessori students are well rounded, well adjusted and have no trouble fitting into the mix of students at Colorado Academy.  Additionally, their parents value education and have been highly supportive of our school.  I hope that we will always be able to maintain this positive relationship with the school.

The children that come from Montessori School of Evergreen have high expectations of themselves.  When they are confronted with a challenge, they are comfortable in being an advocate for themselves. They seem at ease talking to teachers and other adults.  Montessori kids are able to think globally.  In other words, they can see beyond the classroom or grades and apply the knowledge and information gained in the classroom to outside situations.  They tend to think around education and understand that learning occurs everywhere and throughout their lifetime.
