Choosing a school for your child is one of the most important decisions you will make as a parent. The information below will guide you through our admission process and answer questions you may have regarding enrollment at Montessori School of Evergreen (MSE). Throughout the admission process, we strive to ensure that each student is a good fit in our environment, can fully benefit from an MSE education, and adds value to our greater community. We are excited to share more with you about the transformational experience of an MSE education.
Tours are generally hosted at 9:00am on Tuesdays at our Troutdale Campus, and Thursdays at our Marshdale Campus. Please contact Christiane Leitinger, 303-674-0093 to schedule a tour. As part of the tour we invite you to observe in our classrooms, and this How to Observe guideline will help you prepare for your observation.
The application process begins when you submit an online inquiry form so we may get to know your child and your family. Once the inquiry form is complete you may continue on to the application, which is also submitted electronically. Once all application materials are received, we schedule a student Readiness Visit/Shadow Days and parent interview.
Readiness Visit/Shadow Days:
When your student’s admission’s file is complete we will schedule a Readiness Visit (for children three to five years) or Shadow Days (for children six years to 8th grade) for your student. Toddler applications do not require a Readiness Visit.
After the Readiness Visit/Shadow Days the Admissions Committee carefully considers each family and student. An acceptance letter is sent once the decision on enrollment has been made. We speak directly with families of students not admitted.
When you enroll your child at MSE, you join an extraordinary community committed to a transformational education experience for every student! Thank you for considering the Montessori School of Evergreen!
