Board of Trustees
Montessori School of Evergreen is a nonprofit, independent school governed by a Board of Trustees.
MSE is fortunate to be guided by a dedicated Board of Trustees committed to serving the school’s best interests, long-term sustainability, and continued alignment with its vision, mission, and educational philosophy. Our hardworking trustees provide thoughtful leadership and stewardship to support MSE’s growth and success for generations to come.
As with all independent schools, the MSE Board of Trustees serves as a governance body and does not engage in the daily operations of the school. The Board’s primary responsibility is to ensure that MSE remains true to its vision and mission, both now and into the future. This includes long-term strategic and policy planning, fiduciary oversight, and the employment, support, and evaluation of the Head of School.
The Board is comprised of a diverse group of MSE community members, including former staff members and life-long Montessorians, parents, grandparents, alumni, alumni parents, and community members. Trustees are selected for their passion for MSE and the wide range of skills, experience, and perspectives they contribute in service of the school.
