There is no cooler group of children to work with than toddlers! Every day I revel in the magic that is watching these tiny humans discover the world around them. Experiencing their “firsts” in so many things is such a unique opportunity that I get to have every day.

Since I was a teenager, I have loved working with young children. Growing up, my dance instructor gave me the opportunity to teach her youngest students which then turned into a 25-year dance career/journey for me. During this time, I completed my Bachelors but never found the opportunity to get into a classroom that felt right. Instead, I continued to work extensively with young children and youth in the realm of dance and opened my own studio. Once I had my daughter Evie, I closed my studio and became a stay-at-home mom. With a move to Evergreen and Evie entering primary school age, we sought out schooling and fell in love with MSE. I quickly began subbing and then was asked to assist in the Quandary Peak Toddler community. This re-ignited my passion for early childhood education and with the support of the school, I sought out my Montessori toddler credential.

Dance is and will always be my first true love. I continue to enjoy taking classes and supporting the amazing dancers I know in their endeavors. I love being with family and traveling. I also love to craft and sew, especially with my daughter.
