Primary Assistant

I fell in love with MSE when I brought my daughter here for primary 9 years ago. In my free time, I volunteered in the classroom and that was such an enjoyable experience that I soon began subbing on a regular basis for various teachers. When a full-time opening for a primary assistant became available in a Troutdale classroom, I jumped at the chance at being a part of this truly magical school!

I love spending time with the students and their sense of wonder reminds me of when I was younger and my love for travel and exploring the world around me. I am energized by their curiosity and creativity, and am honored to observe our next generation in the rich Montessori environment. It's so exciting to see the various accomplishments of the students - from mastering a work to working through a conflict to forming a letter correctly - every single day!
