Volunteering

Volunteering at MSE

At MSE, we welcome parents into the life of the school. The partnership between parents and educators supports children to accomplish great things.

Volunteering is an extraordinary way to give back to MSE, and there are varied ways to do this: drive on a field studies; spend time in the classroom helping students with reading and math; help to coordinate a Halloween/Valentine Party or the Annual Spring Auction; volunteer for a library shift; or simply ask your child’s teacher what they need most. All these kinds of support are deeply appreciated by teachers and staff at MSE. When we invite parents to be our partners in education we know it is what’s best for children, and we make it a priority at every grade level. We value the time, talent, and treasure every parent brings to school, and we honor the unique ways that families give to our school.

To find out more about volunteering in your child’s classroom, speak with your child’s teacher. To learn more about volunteering as a driver, contact Sharon Kennedy at skennedy@montessori-evergreen.org to check your status or complete your paperwork.
